We all know there are residual toxins in the air from cleaning chemicals. But 're-search', as the word implies, never ends. How long do the toxins linger? What is the life cycle of a biodegradable item? In recent years, we’ve seen common sense turn into trends and trends turn into law. Hence, issues spawn research, research begets knowledge. Knowledge brings positive change.

How did we get here? Where are we going?

Pure Environment Maintenance began as a cleaning company in 2008. Environmentally sensitive cleaning products were purchased from independent chemical companies. Some products were effective and others ineffective. We needed answers to commercial issues. Schools and gyms and medical offices can get pretty dirty. The challenge was to be effective and biodegradable at the same time. From this, Pure Environments Products was born. An environmentally responsible product devoted to commercial cleaning and safe for general purposes.

The products were, and are, a strong and essential step in maintaining a clean and safe environment. But there’s more to the formula. Staff members were taught they could optimally clean an area and no longer cause harm to organs, nervous systems, the environment, and the water system. Our people were recognizing a cleaning company could have this broad an effect. By default we were part of the research. Our staff worked full nights with the products while experiencing no harmful effects on their lungs, or skin. They didn’t experience headaches or tiredness usually associated with caustic chemicals

They say, a little bit of knowledge is dangerous. In our case, a little knowledge is opening up a new world to our company and our staff. We learn and we utilize this knowledge constantly.

Our people are certified by the NYS Governor’s Office of General Services (OGS). Chemical companies, environmental agencies and associations, local organizations, concerned academics, biologists, epidemiologists, and re-searchers from all corners are environmental contributors. All we need to do is filter this plethora of information and make it available. The naturally curious staff does the rest

So here we are, a staff learning how to apply the techniques and well vetted products. Knowing their contribution is the beginning of a wonderful learning process all responsible companies will eventually sign on to.

Most states now support rulings that mandate the use of ‘environmentally responsible’ products in schools and municipalities. All knowledgeable research is moving in this direction. Pure Environment Products are effective commercial products that exceed state and federal environmental standards. At Pure Environment we know our products. We know how long it takes to actually biodegrade. We use only the highest quality of ecologically accepted raw materials. So we know what residue is or isn't left in the air.

Environmental study and sustainability is an exciting field, and we at Pure Environment will continue to learn and evolve with and in it.
